Set in the glorious Sierra de Mijas foothills, the Miraflores golf course is a distinctly challenging affair, yet accessible for golfers of most handicaps. 

Miraflores is owned and operated by its members, many of whom live around the immediate area and play the course regularly, as a result of which everything is always immaculately maintained and a real pleasure to play. 

Shorter than most, this only lends to the relaxed feel of the place, and it is a favourite amongst regular visitors, who also speak to the excellent food served at the club restaurant.

Even though the course is looked after by the members they still sell green fees for visiting golfers and are very welcoming.

What makes this course particularly challenging are its hilly fairways and slopes as well as purposely positioned trees and a number of water hazards.

The designer also incorporated elevated greens for certain holes to make them holes more challenging.

Designed by Falco Nardi the course has a clubhouse that is located in the centre of the course, ideal for admiring the beautiful scenery.
